Betsy and I have long purchased our dried fruits and nuts wholesale from Tierra Farm for our family and friends. Here are a few reasons we enjoy these products:

• Tierra Farm is a kindred spirit to TC Farm! They started off as a small diversified produce farm selling to their local area. Like TC Farm, they partnered with other farmers to supply organic fruits and nuts to their members. Over time, the relationships they built on the fair trade nut and fruit business grew into their primary business. Now they specialize in the highest quality fruits, nuts and mixes while still maintaining the original farm. They are transparent in their standards, which align with our goals.
• Fair Trade Certified, Organic in every aspect, B company certified -- they are out there doing good work and we're excited to share it with you!
• No sulfur preservatives in any of the dried fruits - these preservatives are known risk factors for exacerbating health issues like asthma.
• Tasty! Wow! We've tried most of their products and have selected our very favorite ones to share with you.

TC Farm is NOT handling any open nut containers in order to avoid cross contamination

Dried Fruit

All dried fruit is:

• Organic
• No sulfer preservatives
• Processed in a facility that handles tree nuts, soy and milk but NOT peanuts
• Gluten-Free
• Dried at peak ripeness and flavor (really, they are shockingly better than most dried fruit)
• No refined sugars

Dried Mangos

These are our household's favorite. If I let them, our kids would go through a half dozen one pound bags each week!

Vibrant in color, naturally sweet and rich in flavor, these are peeled, cut and dried by hand to just the right chewiness.

Black Mission Figs

Tierra farm says: "Excellent as a sweet snack, or as part of a nut and cheese spread!"

I am glad I included them in our cheese sampler after reading that!

Cranberries

OK, I'll be honest: I ordered these at one point without getting all that excited about them showing up. I mean, yeah, cranberries.

Wow was I wrong!

The difference between these cranberries and store-bought ones is the same as the difference between our Red Ranger chicken and store bought birds. Night. And. Day.

Sweetened with organic apple juice with a dash of organic sunflower oil to keep them from clumping, they have just the right balance of tartness.

Absolutely scrumptious in Betsy's scone recipe -- seriously try them in scones.

Very Berry Mix

A super antioxidant rich tasty blend.

Enjoy on yogurt, by the handful or make your own trail mix. You can't go wrong.

Nuts

I originally wanted to start off with a limited selection of nuts. But then, I just couldn't resist adding my absolute favorite item from the bulk section - those cocoa dusted almonds.

Again, TC Farm is NOT packaging or handling any open containers of nuts to avoid any possible cross contamination.

All nuts are:

• Certified Organic
• Only sea salt (if salted)
• Roasted to perfection (if roasted)
• Processed in a peanut free facility

Roasted Cashew with Sea Salt

A classic.

These take me back to when my father would always order a fancy mixed nut package for his clients' holiday gifts. I'd always pick out the roasted cashews from the "extra" mix and treasure them.

I'd recommend trying the butter chicken recipe with these.

(Incidentally, I have made some updates to that recipe, that I need to get online soon - it's a family favorite!)

Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt

These are the go to snack for our kids.

"Oh you're hungry right at bedtime?" (Or, really, basically anytime.)

Grab a handful of these and it helps take the edge off.

Having high quality snacks that TASTE better makes a huge difference.

Cocoa Dusted Almonds

I remember seeing these at a co-op and noticing they were around $23 per pound and I thought: "Wow. That's really expensive."

Eventually I decided to try some. Worth. It.

The prices at the co-op were just outrageous, so I didn't buy that many.

Still a treat, I am excited to offer them at a bit more reasonable pricing.

Dark Chocolate Cashew

I mean, come on right? we just had to add these after how many comments we got about how amazing the cocoa dusted almonds were.

Tree Nut Mix

So many people asked for a nut mix that was produced in a peanut-free facility. It doesn't hurt that these taste so fresh and intense either.

We decided to offer a roasted and salted version as well as maple glazed.

In addition, a trail mix is a great snack to bring along anywhere!

Granolas

These are great granolas. All organic and just the right hint of sweetness with the maple syrup.

The pistachio version is a favorite and we also offered a nut-free triple berry.

The oats used are certified gluten free, as is the entire granola.
