Not a fan of soy-burgers -- but you gotta love cooking vegan if for no other reason than this pudding. I've tried various internet recipes and none of them were that good -- but THIS is fantastic. A healthy, sugar 'free' treat for all.

Baby piglets are so amazing. They are small, adorable and quick to their feet. We have 10 healthy piglets born today... I LOVE seeing new piglets.
We don’t generally have extra pepperoni to use for anything besides pizza, but we thought we should probably find another option for anyone looking to be more creative than we are! This recipe is quick to cook and uses ingredients that we generally have in the house. We don’t eat pasta often so when we do we want to make sure it is something really good!
We used to make breakfast burritos all the time. At some point we fell for the marketing gimmicks and used to think that somehow those fake sausage soy crumbles were good for us, so we’d use those. Now of course we realize that soy is pretty damaging to our bodies and that factory made sausages are deficient in key vitamins, full of crazy artificial or ‘natural’ toxic flavors and thus we wouldn’t touch the stuff. Instead, here’s a great way to nourish your body with a tasty treat!
We loved when we used to have time to make tamales. Our cousin, Andy, got us into it with a really complicated recipe that took about 20 hours to make a meal for four people. Those were the days. No time? No Corn husks? It’s a perfect time for Tamale Pie! This recipe makes a lot of food, we put half or more of it away for a future quick meal.
For those of you on the fence about signing up for an organic meat CSA or an organic veggie CSA, here's some new research you might find interesting. I can't tell you how amazingly different local organic produce is. The best thing in the world is fresh Minnesota Spinach. Even just drinking some basic chicken broth from our pasture raised organic fed chickens, I can tell how much more nourishing it is for my body than stuff I could buy out of a can.
We've learned a lot over the years on how to prepare tender juicy pork -- not that dry cardboard stuff you might remember. A well prepared organic pork chop can rival any steak, give it a shot!
Congratulations to the city of Minneapolis for making a great change and easing restrictions on raising chickens within the city. We would love to share some tips we've learned along the way for all the aspiring urban chicken farmers out there!
Gluten Free is great? Gluten Free is just a fad? What about Grain Free? What in the world should I REALLY be doing about grains? Here is a short article about why and how to soak and ferment your grains.
It is so nice to have organic spiced, pasture raised Italian sausage! Here is a great dish that is super easy and any leftovers are even better!
I don't think I would have come up with this recipe -- but it sure is a great way to showcase our slow growth dark meat chicken. Making a coconut poached drumstick really is simple to do and a perfect compliment to Pad Thai. This is a classic in the making.
This is fantastic -- a superfood and easy to make. When I first tried making this, I didn't expect much, but it turned out so good that I was glad I made two whole cauliflowers worth!
Beets are SO good, but they also require planning ahead to roast and use in things... I love having this quick option for a great salty and sweet snack or side dish!
These chips are amazing.. so simple and healthy... but watch out, they are addictive and you'll never make enough to satisfy everyone the first time!
