Delivery Days - Week of Labor Day

Getting a delivery the week of Labor Day? Wondering what day will it be?

If you are picking up at a neighborhood pickup site, your delivery will be the same day as always.

If you are getting a home delivery, it will be one day later than usual.

Hens and Eggs - Midsummer Update

Earlier in the spring we gave an update on adding hens to our flocks. With the exceptionally hot June, we thought another hen/egg update was in order!

Fabulous Fillet Sampler

Beginning in August, we have our Fabulous Filet sampler -- this might just be our best sampler ever.

Ribeye Steak Box

Can't get enough ribeye? We have a new Ribeye Steak box, just for you.

Mushrooms for August: Lion's Mane and King Trumpet

For August, we plan to offer Lion's Mane and King Trumpet as our two varieties.

Organic Pastry Update

Organic pastries are hard to find! We will still offer Butter Croissants and Sugar Croissant Buns, but no more almond croissants.

New Salmon Packaging

Starting with July deliveries, our Superior Fresh salmon will be packaged slightly differently and have a slightly lower unit price.

Help Build Nest Boxes This Weekend

Elizabeth O'Sullivan, who raises hens that lay eggs for TC Farm members, put out a call to ask if we could have TC Farm members help her build new nest boxes at her farm in Northfield. We are looking for 4 people to help out from 1:30-4:30pm this Saturday. This is a great way to get connected with your eggs, lend a hand and spend a little time with the people raising your food!

When will my food show up?

If you are getting home delivery, things just got a little easier for you. Starting this week, we will be sending members messages with an expected delivery window for that day's delivery. And we even have a link where you'll be able to follow along in real-time. Nice.

Mushrooms for July: Buna-Shimeji and Maitake

For July, we plan to offer Buna-Shimeji and Maitake as our two varieties.

Going Out of Town?

Just because you'll be away for a week or two on the dates when you usually get your delivery doesn't mean you need to skip a month. Now that we are doing weekly home deliveries, even members who normally pick up at a neighborhood pickup location can switch to home deliveries for a month and even pick the week the delivery arrives.

New Neighborhood Pickup Site: Inver Grove South

If you are looking for a neighborhood pickup site in the Southeast Metro, we've added a new pickup site starting in July: Inver Grove South. Learn more and find out how you can set this as your default neighborhood pickup location.

Whole Chicken: A Little Bigger

You'll notice that our whole chicken is just a little bit bigger this summer.

New Item: Picanha Roast

Picanha Roast is a traditional Brazilian beef roast that is great for making steaks out of. This is super easy and a really nice meat!

Let there be Pasta!

Sunrise Flour Mill pasta is now available to order! Rigatoni and Fusilli

Put out those empty coolers

We started this spring with enough coolers to keep things humming nicely for produce deliveries and home deliveries. But: we need you to remember to put out your empty coolers when getting your next delivery.

Salmon Burgers a Hit - More in September

Wow - those salmon burgers are a big hit! We are set to sell out of them this summer but plan to have more in stock for our September deliveries.

What we've done.. How it works. This post is both for people in our Produce CSA and anyone else who wants to learn a little more about our weekly Produce CSA. Learn more!

Update on Alemar's Milk

TC Farm focuses on transparency and no-shortcuts. It is hard to get certified organic and grass fed milk. We recently learned that Alemar has switched their milk supply to a small farm in Litchfield that has 100% grass fed heritage breed cows, but is not certified organic. This was the milk previously used by the Lone Grazer creamery.
