Well, we didn't intend for it to happen but this month, the Backwards Bread Brioch Brat Buns are smaller than we had planned. Anyone who ordered the Brioche Brat buns got a credit for half the price of their buns.

The scent of morels is in the air (windy, windy air today!) but we still have a little time until we see them pop through the forest floor. This share includes Brown Beech (the small brown cap mushrooms) and the King Trumpets (the regal, large brown cap mushrooms).

Superior Fresh raises our amazing organic fed fish. They are upgrading their farm and rolling out a new packaging and product mix. Now's your chance to order salmon and trout at a discount to make way for the new items!

For March we're adding a goat cheddar in addition to our herb chevre. Plus: Your chance to try heritage flours, pancake mix and cereal mixes. All organic of course.

Some people don't always check their email every day. If you want to make sure you get reminders about setting up your next delivery (or are reminded about when your next delivery is being delivered) did you know you can get the reminder by a text message?

For February, Superior Fresh was doing an upgrade of their greenhouse so we had to substitute a different green for our February deliveries. But we are back to offering our regular Super Fresh greenhouse grown organic greens for March.

It's going to be cold this week - remember that those coolers at the neighborhood pickup sites don't just keep keep the meat frozen in summer. They also keep the fresher items from freezing in winter. Be sure to zip those coolers all the way after picking up your delivery.

People who used to pick up at the Minnetonka - Glen Lake neighborhood pickup site have now been switched over to home delivery for future deliveries. Read up to learn more and also find out how you can switch to other nearby neighborhood pickup locations instead.

Temps dipping close to -10º and some new packaging and different greens meant that some people with neighborhood pickups had greens that didn't make the cut. A lot of them did. But enough didn't that we want to make this really easy for you. If your greens froze - we've got the world's easiest form inside. Simply check a box and we'll give you full credit for those greens that were delivered this week.

This month is one of our favorite combos - you can think of it as the umami bomb: Nebrodini and Maitake. If your path is clear to the grill, get some oil, salt and pepper and treat these both to some direct heat. Otherwise, use in your favorite dishes to elevate them.

Many of you got mushroom logs earlier this year. Log-grown mushrooms can take more patience than other crops; you may very well get mushrooms from your log next year even if you haven't yet. We asked Jeremy and Jenny for some winter tips for those mushroom logs. They had some helpful advice! Here's what they had to say.
