Thanksgiving isn't that far off!

If you are getting a neighborhood pickup, be sure to add any Thanksgiving items to your November delivery before Sunday, October 31 at midnight!

Great Holiday Food

Produce

We have so many amazing items that our farmers have raised for your holiday celebrations this year.

Since this is the first year for TC Farm produce, we went all out with organic holiday produce - including fresh cranberries, sweet potatoes, beans and more.

Josh in particular is really excited about the fresh local organic cranberries. Apparently he always makes his own sauce (it is super easy!) and of course it makes amazing jam and apple-cranberry pies. Check back soon for a video / recipe for your own cranberry sauce (reserve them now).

TC Farm Turkey

While they last. We still have a few whole TC Farm turkeys available to reserve for November:

We are so thankful to have our truly pasture raised turkey this year.

Our turkeys literally roosts in trees at night! We've been unable to find any turkey from the grocery that was actually raised outside on pasture. Some turkey is marketed as "Free-range" while housed in a barn with 15,000 other turkeys which don't really go outside to pasture (maybe they get out to a gravel/dirt lot?).

Other turkey comes with marketing material that looks like their birds live on pasture, but none of the birds in the grocery actually live that way. We've done our homework and checked into all of the options we could find, but it appears no grocery store offers birds raised the way the images portray (did we miss one?).

But OUR birds? OUR birds have organic feed and live a long amazing life out on green pasture with trees and sunshine. Just say no to "photo-only" birds for a special Thanksgiving meal.
