Bbbbrrrrr - be sure to zip up those coolers!

It's going to be cold this week. Remember that those coolers at the neighborhood pickup sites don't only keep keep the meat frozen in winter. They also keep the fresher items from freezing in winter.

We put this as a reminder in the pick up reminder emails -- but some people get text reminders and don't always see the note:

Be sure to zip those coolers all the way back up after picking up your delivery. Especially the egg coolers and coolers with fresh items (like salads).

As much as we all love winter: we want those eggs and other things to stay at a stable temperature. If you zip back up the cooler all the way when you are done, the next person who picks up food after you will get their food at the right temperature too.
