Box 750
$23.88/lb

100% Grass Fed and amazing

One wheel of Alemar Cheese Company's Bent River Camembert style cheese.

Made with 100% grass fed cow's milk raised on a small farm in Litchfield.

Enjoy at room temp.

We LOVE this cheese - we've been fans of Alemar Cheese Company since way back when they started and were using Cedar Summit milk! Enjoy this by itself on a cheese plate, on eggs or burgers, or really anywhere you can imagine a tangy creamy cheese. The rind is edible and we encourage eating it all together.

Will store for several weeks unopened or a good week or so in your fridge if tightly wrapped back in the original package.

Exact weights vary, this is a flat rate item

Good Thunder Cheese

$13
0.5 lbs avg

Box 752
$26.00/lb

Washed-rind in Surly Bender!

One square of Alemar Cheese Company's Good Thunder Cheese.

Made with 100% grass fed cow's milk raised on a small farm in Litchfield.

Washed with Surly Bender during its three weeks of aging, this cheese gets softer and more funky with age.

Enjoy at room temp - most Reblochon style cheeses will have white or blueish growths on the rind - this is normal and safe to eat.

Will store for several weeks unopened (and get a stronger flavor if you wait) or a good week or so in your fridge if tightly wrapped back in the original package.

Exact weights vary, this is a flat rate item

Fruits and Nuts

We are now offering Fair Trade certified organic fruits and nuts!

  • Tierra Farm is a kindred spirit to TC Farm! They started off as a small diversified produce farm selling to their local area. Like TC Farm, they partnered with other farmers to supply organic fruits and nuts to their members. Over time, the relationships they built on the fair trade nut and fruit business grew into their primary business. Now they specialize in the highest quality fruits, nuts and mixes while still maintaining the original farm. They are transparent in their standards, which align with our goals.
  • Fair Trade Certified, Organic in every aspect, B company certified -- they are out there doing good work and we're excited to share it with you!
  • No sulfur preservatives in any of the dried fruits - those preservatives are known risk factors for exacerbating health issues like asthma.

Learn more about all of them in our post introducing our fruits and nuts.

Protip: if you are thinking ahead to next month, these would make fantastic gifts for family or friends. Just saying...

Important note about nut allergies:
All nut products arrive at our facility pre-packaged for retail sale. TC Farm is NOT handling any open nut containers in order to avoid cross contamination

Picking up on time at neighborhood pickup sites

A giant thank you to all of us from TC Farm for picking up your November deliveries on time!

Just so you know, if you miss your pickup window, the host at your host site has to get in touch with us and then we need to reach out to you to remind you to come pick up the food we delivered. Some months, we've been up until almost midnight keeping track of missed pickups. (Plus in the winter time, things like eggs and greens don't do great outside overnight.) Last month, we had so many fewer people forgetting and it really made an extraordinary difference. Thank you again!!

Looking for additional host sites in St. Anthony

Back when we originally published this in late November, we didn't have a host for the St. Anthony pickup site but we do now!
But - we keeping this in the article for people who read this in the future and might want to read about what goes into being a host at a neighborhood pickup site. Maybe you are interested?

Just so you know part 2: We are still looking for an additional pickup site in the St. Anthony area. We'll be reaching out to you if you live in that area but - if you've ever considered being a host site and would like a free home delivery by hosting for your neighbors each month:

  • You do not need to have a chest freezer
  • You do not need to be home during the delivery.
  • You'll have the added benefit of your items delivered right to your home.
  • On delivery days, you would have a place where the coolers could be stored ideally out of sight. Or at least in stored in a safe area.
  • You simply need to have space to store the coolers in a garage or other dry area during the month

We would love to hear from you if you are interested.

Home Deliveries - 2nd and 3rd week of December

Our home deliveries for December will be Wednesday and Thursday the second week of December (December 8th and December 9th) and Wednesday and Thursday the third week of December (December 15th and December 16th).

We will let you know the day of your home delivery after we've built the home delivery routes (around December 3rd or so).
