New Stuff - Fish! Salads! Mushroom Logs!
We've got some delicious new stuff we are offering including fish (salmon and trout) greens and mushroom logs.
Mushroom Logs and Butter
Our friends at Northwood Mushroom have made us some custom organic mushroom butters. I am super excited to try these!
These are being made special for TC Farm members using Organic Valley butter and organic spices. The chanterelle one is something they don't usually offer and are making 100% custom for us!
Jeremy also has a handful of the shiitake mushroom logs remaining, this is the last chance to order one if you missed out last month.
What is a mushroom log? These logs will fruit Oyster Mushrooms over the summer if you put it in a shady spot in your yard. Minimal upkeep is required.

Mushrooms - Maitake

Maitake is wonderfully adaptable with a fabulous, forest aroma, a deep umami flavor and a light, crunchy, somewhat meaty texture.
Traditional in Asian cuisine, but its rich versatile flavor also finds complements with roasted meats and chicken, cheeses, dark leafy greens, and hearty grains.
A good source of micronutrients!

Organic Salad Greens
The salmon is raised in harmony with one of the best aquaculture facilities in the world. That is where these organic salad greens are grown.
Each package will include one full pound of organic mixed greens - that's a lot, but you'll get an amazing value.
Read more about the salad in this month's newsletter post.

Home Deliveries in May
We've heard from many of you that you would like the option of a home delivery. TC Farm is doing just fine with our product inventory. But last month was far and away our biggest delivery to date and May looks to be bigger.
By registering for a home delivery, you will help us get all the food to our members without running out of coolers at the pickup sites (and making sure we have enough room in our delivery trucks for all the food.) By building some home delivery routes, we can better balance out that load.
If you'd like a home delivery in May, it is $19. (Our neighborhood pickups are still free as always).
Verify that the address we have for you is correct in the email we sent out.
Product Availability
Same message as last month here: Because we plan far in advance, we are in good shape and have inventory available. We don’t see any major shortages coming down the line. Those of you who have been with us for a couple seasons already know: there will be some specific cuts this time of year which run low. This happens because of the seasonality of pasture raised meats.
Our main concern on this end is the logistical demand on our delivery routes. We know everyone is cooking more at home and we understand! But please don’t over order so you can "stock up" which will put a lot of extra strain on our drivers and warehouse staff. Thanks!!
