Stop using plastic
As discussed in our new milk packaging article, we really don't like using plastic. There are many ways where plastic is just required to avoid significant food waste, but we are us pushing the extremes of how to avoid plastic whenever possible.
With produce, almost all of our items are packaged in paper, but until recently, we were unable to package our organic nuts and fruit in paper packaging.
But now... Here is what our new packages look like!
It takes a little more effort, but we think it is worth it. Look for a few more updates soon about how we've cut out plastic! Some items are still in plastic, but we are not making any new items in the plastic containers, so if you get one of those, just know it is one of the last ones... maybe keep it as a collector's item!
