November Deliveries - You Know that means Turkey!

Posted on Oct 23, 2020

We've changed the dates of some neighborhood deliveries:

For the last several years, TC Farm has delivered to neighborhood pickup sites on the second Wednesday and Thursday each month. As we've added members and people have begun to order more each month, each of the trucks along the routes is getting fuller and it is taking longer to set up at each neighborhood stop. Some of the later stops on our routes have had food dropped off late the past several months in a row. We don't want that. We've made the size of the routes our trucks run each day smaller and a second set of deliveries the third week of each month.

What we've changed

We've changed up our routes so we are now doing half of our neighborhood deliveries on the second Wednesday and Thursday of each month and half on the third Wednesday and Thursday each month.

For about half of our members, nothing has changed at all. For about a quarter of you, you'll now be picking up on the same day of the week but on the third week of each month. For about 10% of our members, you'll now be picking up on a Wednesday instead of a Thursday -- or vice versa. Because we've rebuilt the routes, some of the start times at your pickup site might have changed. Your member portal (or reminder email) will always tell you the start time.

Questions - Answers:

How do I know when my next delivery is?

You can always see when your next neighborhood delivery will be right on the front page of the member portal, just below the announcement box.

My route was on a Wednesday and now on a Thursday. What if I can't pick up on Thursday?

No problem! You can easily change to another pickup site that's on the day you want. You can set your default pickup location in the member portal under Your Account / Pickup Location.

Use the map to find a location near you. Click on that pickup location to see if deliveries are on Wednesdays or Thursdays and whether they are the second or third week. Then use the drop down list above to pick the one that's right for you. (Be sure to click submit.)

What if there are no nearby locations that has a day that works for me?

No problem! You still have the option of getting deliveries directly to your front steps.
Simply choose "Delivery direct to your home or office" as your default pickup location.

Baby ginger grown organically in MN!   This stuff is so great - we keep it in the freezer and it doesn't even need to be peeled.  Just chop off how much you need for tea or a stir fry or any dish and leave the rest in the freezer.

Each package should be between .75 - 1.2lbs - or a lot of ginger.

Do not fully thaw, just cut or grate frozen - if you thaw it is fine, but it will be watery, just use it as you normally would, no peeling though for baby ginger.
