Put out those empty coolers

Earlier in the spring, when we were getting ready for weekly produce deliveries, we were flush with coolers. We had a copious amount of coolers. We had more than enough coolers for everyone's home deliveries.

But now - things are starting to look a little more empty in our warehouse.

We need members getting home deliveries to remember to put out your empty coolers the next time you get a home delivery.

Some Questions and Answers about Putting Out Coolers

Q: Oh, no. I forgot to put out my coolers last week! Can someone drive to my house and pick them up?
A: Thanks! But no. We still have some coolers in the warehouse. We won't need to make a special trip to your house to pick up your coolers. Just leave your empty coolers out the next time we make a delivery.

Q: I am going to be out of town next week and am skipping this week's delivery. Can someone drive to my house and pick up my empty coolers?
A: We hope you are going to the lake. Going to the lake in the summer is awesome! And also: No. We still have some coolers in the warehouse. Just leave your empty coolers out the next time we make a delivery.

Q: Would it be helpful if I had the driver wait for me to empty my coolers the next time I have a delivery?
A: Thanks! But, no. We still have some coolers in the warehouse. We also have a lot of people getting deliveries on each route. If we took an extra 2-3 minutes per stop to wait for people to unload their current coolers, our drivers wouldn't get home until 7PM or 8PM. Our drivers want to have dinner at home. Just leave your empty coolers out the next time we make a delivery.

Q: I have some empty coolers from deliveries from other places. Could you use those?
A: Thanks! But no. The coolers have be exactly the same size as the other ones or they don't stack up neatly in the trucks. Then our pallets tip. Then we might have vegetables rolling around and, well, it's a whole thing. Also: That's super thoughtful of you to be thinking of us.

Q: What if I don't get home deliveries?
A: Then you won't need to worry about this. (Though you should think about getting home deliveries. It is awesome and easy and so much more flexible too!)
